Bidra med feedbackI stopped by for a turkey club sandwich on my way to the zoo. It was an inexpensive, convenient, grab-and-go choice. The sandwich wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was tasty.
Cozy place with a beachy atmosphere. Good variety of light lunch fare. A little pricey, but good locality to the beach. Staff was very friendly and provided fast service. With that said, my Caprese Panini was tasty. It was not fresh tasting, I believe because the sandwiches are pre-made. My sandwich was also lacking tomato.
Food is good well presented (and convenient), but the majority of the sandwiches on the board are pre-made, so if you request gluten-free bread (a reasonable $1), they will throw away the bread from the pre-made sandwich and use the fillings. So much unnecessary food waste is disappointing, and would make me hesitant to return. I have had a nice steamy cup of coffee from here. But I stopped by today to purchase a salad. It was amazing! Real bib or butter lettuce wonderful dressing with zest! Great appeal, I look forward to exsploring more food options from Tucker Bevey!
This restaurant claims to be an "Australian breakfast place," but my experience was pretty disappointing. As an Australian, I found the premade panini to be stale and unappetizing. My avocado on "toast" was actually just stale untoasted bread with bruised avocado. The coffee was also subpar, being more like filter sock juice. I would recommend skipping this place and heading to Denny's instead.
