Musubi Bento - Honolulu

Perfect way to start your morning with a Spam Musubi. We have the OG Spam musubi and the Eel-Ei Spam musubi as well as the chicken carrage. The flavors were delicious, but the rice spam ratio on a little too much rice. It is at a small corner on the Seaside Ave and there are very limited parking fortunately our place was walking from it. They are busy and there is usually a line of three or more people, but it is definitely worth waiting. Service was exceptional and gave us good recommendations.

A HIDDEN GEM! Very small store that sells musubi. Never thought that I'd like spam, but I do! There's no dine in, reservations, delivery, or pickup because it's simple onigiri (rice ball). Each one is very cheap and filling.

Love the combo they put together, but too much rice tho I wished the store opens a little bit before 8am so I could buy some for morning hike or early tour activities

This restaurant offers definitely higher quality food than ABC, but it's also twice the price and has a more creative menu. For instance, they offer unique options like eel, egg, spam, and rice musubi. I’m eager to try more varieties, as this place is a must-visit while you’re in Hawaii. There are also some stands on Waikiki Beach that serve the same food since they are all owned by the same company.

During my first trip to Hawaii, I was on the lookout for a good breakfast when I came across this restaurant. They serve musubi, a unique Hawaiian rice ball filled with Spam. I'll admit that Spam doesn't sound very appealing at first, but I was hungry, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The locals don't have much meat available on the islands and rely on imports like Spam, but they've learned to work wonders with it over time. It was also here that I discovered Onigiri, the traditional Japanese rice balls. This experience ignited my desire to visit Japan and explore more of its delicious cuisine. If you find yourself in this place in Hawaii, you won't regret it!
