We really enjoy the breakfast at our local McDonald's, featuring scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, and spam. We make sure to have it at least once during our trips to the islands. We specifically choose to stop at the Liliha Street McDonald's because they give a generous serving of rice. When you add soy sauce, it reminds us of Hawai'i and is similar to a traditional mainland ham and eggs breakfast. You must try this meal - it's a breakfast that has been adapted to the local lifestyle.

This restaurant was a lifesaver for me the other day. I was really hungry and didn't even know it was located just down the street all this time. Now I make sure to visit whenever I'm in the area. It has two entrances to the restaurant section; one on North School St. and one on Liliha St., which is convenient if you need to get on the highway, head back to the city, or go to Kailua.

The items on the value menu are no longer priced at one dollar, and the cost of McFlurries has also increased. However, I still enjoy coming to this restaurant to order my favorite dishes. It's a convenient spot for a quick meal or a light snack at any time of day.

Friendly, nice, order was correct. In a bit of a weird spot when trying to use the drive thru but other than that your standard McDonald’s experience, and the ice cream machine was working.
