Bidra med feedbackWow! The broth was absolutely divine! It was rich and creamy with a savory pork flavor, complemented by hints of peanut and a touch of spice. The noodles were perfect—thin and chewy. The char-shu pork was both tender and flavorful. The gyozas were outstanding! They were plump, filled with pork and vegetables. You can create your own dipping sauce using soy sauce, pepper spices, and a splash of vinegar. Gratuity is included at this location, but the staff were very attentive and definitely deserving of it. Just a note: the draft beer and cocktails I had earlier may have influenced this review!
We went to Goma Tei Ramen for a late lunch at around 2 pm. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to find a free table. It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to clean it because they seemed to be understaffed, with only two waitresses handling all the customers. Despite that, the service was good, and the food was both delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend the seafood ramen; it was packed with seafood and the broth was bursting with flavor... yum!
The fried rice was quite delicious, and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The soft-boiled egg was enjoyable as well. The chicken wings were fantastic, boasting a wonderfully crispy exterior and a tender interior, complemented by a delightful ginger sesame sauce. The ramen had tender pieces of chicken, fresh vegetables, and flavorful broth, all cooked to perfection. The wait for our food wasn't a problem at all. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
This place looks clean and elegant. Foods are large in portion at a decent price. The 3-piece meat version of ramen is much too much for me. the basic soup of ramen is completely different from the “thick” traditional Japanese ramen. Since the waitress desperately tried to convince us to try their new truffles $20), we ordered one and it tastes better, but the noodle came to a much smaller part! At first my children refused to try the new truffles, the waitress came back and asked them “Why not?” is it the higher price?” etc. I guess this is the Asian way to make market research, but for Americans like my children it was a very rude way. Hopefully, their branch at ala moana has a better service.
We love eating here when we visit Hawaii. My husband couldn't get enough of her rams! All kinds to choose and also delicious curry! The staff was friendly and the interior was stylish with comfortable seating. Definitely a place we will remember for their delicious dishes
