Bidra med feedbackI'm a big fan of nostalgia so I really liked this place. My friend who has lived here 60 years enjoyed reminiscing as she worked nearby as a young lady. This place was very interesting. I was looking for a diner like experience with other food options besides the normal drowning in Asian options. I had the burger breakfast brunch, which came with the burger, cheese, eggs, hash browns. I chose not to get the bread. My friend had biscuits and gravy.. that was pretty good as well. Eggs Benedict that's what I REALLY wanted but they had no hollandaise during my visit. There is a bar there so I had a **** Mary... They have Taco Tuesdays as well.
We decided to go to The Other Side after a couple of bars. The atmosphere was good. Food was ok. The kitchen was overwhelmed by party goers ordering after drinking. No other real choice of food around 1am in Chinatown. Would I come again hell yeah!
Besides the fact that they were out of a few items at the start of the day, it was really good food. The breakfast burrito was really good and very flavorful! The egg omelette was packed with meat (spam, bacon, ham). All great choices. Definitely give it a chance when it comes to happy hour.
We’re back a year later and this place is still amazing. We discovered this place after we were turned away from Little Village Noodle. Thrice in two years now. However! This diner is a vegan’s delight! I’m not vegetarian or vegan but my partner is vegetarian. At this diner I never worry about the menu here. Truly this is best Honolulu can offer. Cheers!
What a find! A hip little diner serving vegan food, with a smile perfection! We had the vegan Buffalo wings with ranch, vegan chicken and waffle, and tofu pesto scramble with pancakes. Oh, and don't forget the chocolate and peanut butter milkshakes. The options are endless and the food is great. I think we may have found our new favorite in Honolulu.
