It was a bit challenging to locate this restaurant, as it is situated on a floor within a large building. Upon taking the elevator up, turning right, we found ourselves entering the restaurant immediately. The retro interior gave off a vibe from the 20th century, showing their dedication to the theme. The menu offered a variety of options, although the quality of the food was just average. We opted for the house soup as an appetizer, but unfortunately it had already cooled down by the time it reached us and we didn't finish it. The burger was flavorful, but we were underwhelmed by the portion of sweet potatoes that accompanied it. Overall, it was a unique experience, but not one that we would likely repeat due to the high prices for what was offered. It's worth noting that they close in the afternoon at 15:30, so late lunch is not an option. This review was last updated on January 2, 2023.
I was thrilled to discover that this restaurant converted from vegetarian to fully vegan several years ago. Recently, they underwent a change in ownership and name in late 2021, but they have maintained their vegan concept, menu, and style. I have visited this restaurant numerous times with my vegan friends and it seems to be a favorite spot for them due to the high-quality food and charming old San Francisco decor. I have tried a variety of dishes, and the "I am fabulous" burger is particularly delicious! While it is not cheap at around HKD 170, it is well worth it as it comes with wedges and salad. Their chocolate cake is also superb. Overall, everything I have tasted here has been excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. They only accept cash payments and reservations are recommended. A neat hip place, with great food. The Indonesian meal is my favourite, and the Korean Fried “Chicken” is delicious. I’ve been told the burgers are good too. $150 minimum spend. Friendly staff. Prices are highish, but not insultingly high, ans I guess pretty standard in Hong Kong. About 140-160 for a main, and 50-80 for a starter. Cash only! I would recommend booking ahead.
The restaurant has a fun decor with a unique style and the staff is friendly. It's unfortunate to hear that they may be closing.
