Bistro des Artistes - Honfleur

Pleasant location and fairly busy bistro. Disappointed to find that the only vegetarian option offered was pumpkin soup and this was unavailable when ordered. Salad substitute was ordinary but edible. Fish dish was decent. Dont go here if you want vegan/vegetarian dish.

We came here, three of us, last Tuesday night on the recommendation of our lovely hotel, La Maison du Parc. We were greeted by the friendly proprietor. She sat us in a lovely seat with a view of the old port. I can see why...people get annoyed about the service when seated they sort of get one table sorted at a time. We were the second table to be attended to and once we had their attention everything happened very efficiently water, wine, food orders taken. But you do need to wait for them to cycle through their guests. We found the staff to be most agreeable bringing us exactly what we needed. The food was very very good quite large portions we ordered duck which was absolutely delicious but those ducks must have been HUGE!! We also ordered a cod speciality which was great. We would definitely eat here again and are very grateful for the recommendation

Amazing find in the heart of Honfleur. We ate here on a quiet Sunday evening and there was just one other couple in the place with us. Truly special. Beautiful view of the harbor from our table. Amazing meals cod and chicken pastry. The...menu changes daily. The owner is also the chef and the server and she is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would come back again.

Had a very enjoyable meal here .we both had salad and then strawberry tart.the wine was expensive as was the food but worth ityou need to book as people still waiting for a table at 10pm.Don't go there if you don't like dogs there were 4 in there while we were eating so.not the place for everyone as it's very small.

Si vous voulez bien manger c'est à cette adresse. Quel que soit le jour de l'année..vous y mangerez du frais, de bien cuisiné, du parfumé, de l'épicé léger, etc etc...! le pain est très bon et il est fait à la même adresse ! J'ai lu que certains trouvent l'addition un peu salée...hé bien moi je pense que pour avoir du bon, frais, cuisiné maison..ce n'est pas donné mais dans le même périmètre vous mangez pour le même prix du moyennement bon, moyennement frais et souvent pas cuisiné sur place ou mal cuisiné...A vous de voir...mais moi je recommande !!!
