Bidra med feedbackMy girlfriend's family has been frequenting this restaurant for the past 10-15 years. However, in my opinion, the flavors here just don't stack up to other places I've visited. I have experienced better elsewhere.
Absolutely loved the pho broth very flavourful and didn’t make me feel thirsty afterwards. Their crispy chicken was quite good too. Portions are very generous so sharing two dishes between three would be good.
Best pho in Sydney for mine. Broth is flavourful without being too salty, toppings are perfectly done and generous, service is quick and price is reasonable. To top it off their other menu items are also delicous if youre not feeling like pho. And yeah they give you a choice of raw or cooked bean sprouts, brilliant.<br/ <br/ Its hard to get parking and the decor is straight of out of a 1980s hong kong movie sticky tables and all. But still 5 stars for the food
I tried the crispy chicken with dried vermicelli and tender beef rice noodle soup. The crispy chicken was delicious, very juicy and refreshing with the noodles and vegetables. The noodle soup also had great flavours, although the beef could have been fresher. <br/ <br/ Food service was extremely speedy, both dishes arrived under 2 minutes. Big servings too 2 people, 2 dishes with leftovers to takeaway. Customer service was friendly but rushed, although that was expected given the line at the door. Very fast turnover, they don't expect you to linger get in knowing your order, eat and then get out, more people want yummy food!
Superb pho a really tasty complex soup with lots of very tender beef served very rare, plus big serves for low prices and nice fast staff. I might prefer a heavier soup (e.g., Pho Mom) and more kick no spice in the soup and no chilli sauce so you're stuck with adding chunks of chilli but Pho Toan Thang is definitely among the best in Sydney.
