Had a brunch here his morn and it was top class... Really neat decor and amazing provenance on all ingredients including meat from their own beef farm... Eggs benedict with ham! Excellent and also a sausage and egg skillet on the table- this is the hungover choice... For me all day it's eggs benedict and its variants... The cakes and sweet treats looked yum. Badger and dodo Java being brewed up. Excellent staff, what can I say an important addition to the brunch scene and when the weather improves they have cool outdoor seating! If the weather ever improves... I dropped a star because when busy the owner gets really anxious and actually rushes people out the door! Literally standing next to me as I was trying to eat... if I need to take an extra 3-5 minutes I think I will take it...

They offered a build-your-own breakfast option, and I asked the server to create a version of an Irish breakfast for me. The result was fantastic! My plate included two perfectly poached eggs with rich yellow yolks that tasted amazing, a crunchy slice of toast cut in half, two sausages that I wasn't crazy about, two delicious pieces of thick ham that were just right in flavor, half a fried tomato, and an incredible mix of sautéed wild mushrooms that were the highlight of the meal. To top it off, I ordered a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice to accompany my breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious, and everyone in our group was pleased with their food choices. I would definitely recommend this place and would return when visiting Cork. Note: #264 of the Yelp 100 Challenge for 2016.

We visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch with a friend and were fortunate to enjoy a sunny, warm day on the terrace. I ordered Florentine eggs along with a cappuccino, while my friend opted for an orange juice, Royal eggs, and a side of bacon and sausage. The food was delicious and satisfying, but we did experience a long wait for our meals, which was a bit disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes to be served, and it seemed like the waitstaff could have been better organized. Despite this, the food was excellent, and we definitely plan to return.

The food is delicious and very affordable! I absolutely loved their vegetable stew, and I believe it should be a permanent addition to the menu.
