The Northo - North Eastern Hotel

Glad we had a stopover in Benalla and found this hotel restaurant today. The ambience, food and service were great! I'm glad we were there early so we got our food pretty quick. The sticky date pudding didn't disappoint, my husband loved it. They have plenty of options on the menu with specials. Their bathroom is also very clean! I love the ambience of the place and our overall experience was awesome. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience at The Northo! This charming country pub is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere. The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in, with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The menu offers a fantastic variety of meals. My husband ordered the butter chicken and I had the sweet potato and beetroot salad, both of which were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were impressed by the exceptional service and amazing food. We highly recommend The Northo and can't wait to return!

We stayed here Easter Friday night. I can only say that we were treated so well ! Great room, friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us. As motorcyclists.. we could lock our bike in a secure yard, off the street. Highly recommend and will stay again !!

Visited this place on my way back from MtHotham, and can tell is one the most friendly, lovely and nice place to stop for a meal and beer. The service and people around are very nice, we love the design with chimneys to keep you warm, and a lovely all green backyard to sit and relax. We now have added this place as one of the mandatory stops on our way to the snow.

Excellent wait staff, friendly, knew the menu and made recommendations . I had the baked Barramundi special and my husband had the beef Curry. Beautiful flavours. Great local wines available. Great atmosphere, looking forward to another visit soon.
