If you have the time, the quality and portion sizes are definitely worth it.

I attempted to place a simple takeout order for the first time today, but after calling three times and letting it ring for over 30 times each time, I received no answer. It feels like there's a complete disregard for potential customers. It's disappointing to say this, but I’ve never experienced anything like it before.

Our waitress was really friendly, and the food was served hot. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with french fries, and both were fantastic—the fries were awesome, and the cheesesteak was delicious!

The chicken fried steak was great. One of the best I have ever had. Always friendly.

Headed to an event in Salado and stopped by for a quick burger. Coming into the restaurant no one at the front to seat us and waited about 5 minutes. Sat down and got our drinks and noticed the table next to us was a bit irritated by their conversation. Lady said she could see down the hallway to the kitchen and someone had just lit a cigarette. . The waitress was friendly and took our order. The table next to us told her they now needed their order to go. (There were only a total of five tables with folks that included us. They finally got the food and I asked how long they had been waiting. An hour! We waited approximately 30 minutes for a burger and hamburger steak. The food was good, fries were warm, not hot but the burger was hot and tasty. If you want ambience this is not your place. Looks like they tried to put a corner together to sell crafts??? ‍. An old couch and junk in another corner. They did have a lot of to go orders and I know it's hard to get workers I try to go easy on these businesses. I would go back to try something else but would definitely be to go.
