Bidra med feedbackNext, we headed to the toppings. I added graham cracker, sprinkles, and some coconut flakes. When it came to the fruit toppings, there was hardly any left, and the little that was available didn’t look fresh, so I decided to skip them. The employee weighed our cups, and we ended up paying $14 for two servings. They also offer ice cream and shakes. Unfortunately, the interior felt quite grungy and could really use more lighting. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in a while and the counters were dirty. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I had heard a lot of buzz from my friends about Cherry Berry, particularly that it would be a hit for my daughters. However, my experience left me feeling a bit let down. A good portion of the yogurt flavors were unavailable, and the seating, including the couches, appeared quite worn. There was litter strewn across the floor, which didn’t create a pleasant atmosphere. The service was rather lackluster as well. I only found out about their rewards program after reading Heidi M.'s review, which was a bit disappointing. While they did have a nice variety of toppings, the fruit didn’t look very appetizing during our first visit on March 16, 2018. I do give them some credit for offering crushed Jolly Ranchers, as that’s something I haven’t seen at other frozen yogurt places before. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, service a 2, the environment a 2, and the price a 3. #29 of 2018 Challenge
I highly recommend Cherry Berry for those in Hobbs, as there really isn't anything quite like it nearby. They offer a wide variety of yogurt ice cream flavors, and the place is kept very clean. The atmosphere inside is decent, although it's not really a spot where I'd want to linger for long, and it can be quite chilly, but that's to be expected.
You go in, grab a cup, serve yourself, go to the counter and put your cup of yogurt on the scale. The worker will charge you based upon how much your yogurt weighs. Then you can take it to go or you can sit down and eat it there. It's ok, it's your typical frozen yogurt. I much prefer the homemade stuff, like at the old byh in Lubbock TX, you won't know what hit you when you taste that stuff, but anyways, this is good for a sweet treat one in a while. They never have the flavors I want when I go. My favorite is red velvet and the regular one. The staff is usually friendly, and the yogurt is usually firm (not runny). As with any yogurt place I've been to, the seating is awkward. People stare as you walk in, serve yourself, and walk out/sit down.
Love this place! Very clean and a cool place to hang out to beat the heat. Sign up for the rewards card if you come here often.
