Bidra med feedbackWanted to really like this place since there aren't too many dessert options in the area. Driving up we thought this place was closed since it looks so dark inside. We did see that the tv was on though and a few people were inside so we made it on in. We walked in and headed straight to the back towards the yogurt cups. The yogurt selection was limited so we made it work with what they had. I had half strawberry half piña colada and my friend had the same. We then went to the toppings. I added graham cracker, sprinkles, and some coconut flakes. Next came the fruit toppings. There was literally no fruit left and the little fruit that was left looked old. So I passed. The employee weighed our cups and we paid $14 for two. They also sell ice cream and shakes. The inside felt very grungy and they definitely need some more lights. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept in a min and the counters were dirty.
Many of my friends had hyped me up about Cherry Berry. Oh, your little girls will love this place. But it 's got me a bit disappointed. Half of the yogurt options were not available. The seats and couches were a bit worn out. There was trash all over the floor. Service was meh. I didn 't even know about a rewards program until after reading Heidi M. 's review just a while ago. Sure there were quite a few toppings, but their fruit just did not look pretty on our first visit (3.16.18). I give the place credit, though... Never before have I seen crushed Jolly Ranchers at a froyo place. Food: 3 Service: 2 Environment: 2 Price: 3 '18 Challenge #29
I would recommend Cherry Berry for Hobbs as there isn't anything else much like it in the area. It gives a variety of flavors of yogurt ice cream and it has a clean environment. As far as the atmosphere inside, it's ok, not exactly a place I would necessarily like to stay and hang out, also it's cold, but that is understandable.
You go in, grab a cup, serve yourself, go to the counter and put your cup of yogurt on the scale. The worker will charge you based upon how much your yogurt weighs. Then you can take it to go or you can sit down and eat it there. It's ok, it's your typical frozen yogurt. I much prefer the homemade stuff, like at the old byh in Lubbock TX, you won't know what hit you when you taste that stuff, but anyways, this is good for a sweet treat one in a while. They never have the flavors I want when I go. My favorite is red velvet and the regular one. The staff is usually friendly, and the yogurt is usually firm (not runny). As with any yogurt place I've been to, the seating is awkward. People stare as you walk in, serve yourself, and walk out/sit down.
Love this place! Very clean and a cool place to hang out to beat the heat. Sign up for the rewards card if you come here often.
