The Fresh Connection - Hobart

I was hesitant at first when I saw this restaurant, but seeing the crowds of people eating there convinced me to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! The salads are freshly made daily and are well priced for either dining in or taking away. The variety of options are delicious and the friendly staff made me feel welcomed and remembered my preferences from previous visits. I definitely plan to come back again.

The salads and sandwiches were prepared but average in taste. The portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side considering the price. The service was also just average.

Although the restaurant may have an old-fashioned ambiance and numerous awards, don't be discouraged as the food is actually quite good. The location is great, despite the strange setup for a restaurant/takeaway.

We just finished another great breakfast at the fresh connection and loved it again. had the best frittatas ever taste and visual appeal. they taste great and I wanted to photograph them. loved the storyline look and will apply it to my own...Cook! also had one of their fresh salads today were sweet potatoes, zucchini, garbanzo buzzing and wobble. as a tourist, they love the idea of having a great breakfast to begin the day. the goal for me is two meals and sometimes the breakfast does not bring them through to dinner. but it does. the service is warm and friendly!
