T42 - Tavern 42 Degrees South - Hobart

Food was delicious! We had the charcuterie board, pork belly, and salmon. Honestly, so good! We had a bit of a mix up with the menu when booking here (totally our mistake). I think we viewed an old online menu somehow, but like I say, that was our fault. Food had an Asian fusion influence, so keep that in mind no fish 'n chips here!

Fresh seafood and amazing service. We paid $120 (quite pricey) for the platter however loved the wide variety of seafood options. Definitely got my cravings satisfied!

STUNNING food and excellent service. Possibly the best meal in Hobart (or anywhere) I have had in years. Great range, exceptional quality and such a nice atmosphere. Only critique is that one of us ordered a 'feed me ' menu, the other a seafood platter without us realising they provided a feed me for two people on a single set of plates (so we assumed it was for one) as well as the seafood platter. When queried we were told it was 'per number of people at the table '. Not complaining about the amount or quality of food but the menu and staff were not clear on this and didn 't understand what we were trying to order. Made for a very expensive meal. That said, I 'd go back anytime, and highly recommend, as it is truly a great place (will just beware of menu clarity in future).

Went this place on saturday. We enjoyed the fresh sashimi and the beef tadaki. Bit pricey but worth to visit.
