Yo Mama's - Hobart

After seeing such good reviews, I decided to stop and get some breakfast here for my birthday… it ended being really disappointing.We were sat, and we waited more than five mins before anyone came to the table. When the server did, she didn’t really say much just put had her pad of paper ready and said ok and looked at us. Didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks or anything. Just looked at us… lolThe coffee was warmish.The food took a veryy long time to come out. When it finally did. It was almost cold. The food was ok, just ok. But again barely warmIt took almost 20 mins to get our bill and then our change.There was one server for the whole place. Maybe she was just overwhelmed, having a bad day . Understaffed I’m guessing… But I’m a server and always try to be understanding. But man. There looked to be zero Urgency or Organization with anything she was doing. It was very frustrating. I don’t think I will be giving it another try. It really set my birthday off on a frustrating note.I hope what ever the issue was that day gets fixed. And this Establishment has better luck. But I must stay. The man who was cooking I believe out came out one time and gave us waters and was very friendly!

This is my first time at Yo Mama's. The atmosphere is very inviting my server is very attentive, and she answered all my questions. The decor is friendly and the restaurant was very clean when I came. The blue cheese burger I ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The fries were soggy and undercooked, wish they were crispy. The burger I'd give it a solid 8.5/10 the fries 3/10 they were hot but that's about it. I'd come back again. Recommend you giving them a shot. Support your local restaurants.

Server Sharon was pleasant and knowledgeable...food was amazing...we had the Fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict with Spinach, the Sausage Gravy, a Breakfast Bowl, and Mama's Potatoes... everything was seasoned to perfection and DELECTABLE.

It's always one of the best. Great atmosphere, great staff/service. I love their turkey bacon club sandwich. I'm never disappointed.

For the price, the food wasn't as good as it used to be. Fries were dark and soggy, and they seemed old. The pulled pork had burned pieces mixed in that weren't edible. Was very disappointed when I brought someone to try them for the first time, and that was what they got.
