Golden Chick - Hillsboro

Didn't have what they offered on the menu. I tried 3 different things and didn't have any of them. Got okra and a sweet tea (tasted like a metal can okra was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. In a town full of Mexican restaurants we were delighted with a change of venue or menus I guess you could say. The shrimp was good the chicken was awesome and the fish was ok, but I must say I am used to to cooking catfish for myself so the bar was high for golden chicks fish. If any improvements were needed it was outside the restaurant. Not much parking and rough driveway.

Clean place fast service and great food . Everything was fresh.

I always love the chicken here, as well as the friendly people that keep it going!

Golden Chicken has great food, but maybe the roasted chicken could only be cooked a little more, I usually get the chicken tits, but for some reason every time I eat it, my stomach hurts a bit, so maybe just cook a little longer, but I love Golden Chick.
