El Hefe De Tacos - Highland

I'm meeting this place, their drive-thru, at least once a week. I also make the food a few times a month. These are probably the best pig tacos and chicken tacos in the area. Her fried beans with Chiroza are also excellent. I'll drive about 20 minutes to get my tacos from here. It is worth trying and it is worth returning.

I only have the steak road tacos and several gourmet tacos. Everything was phenomenal! Loved the sauces on the gourmet tacos. The hoof and the veggie tacos were fantastic! It was also a really big price. We ate at Ricochet taco in Valparaiso and their gourmet tacos were $6 $7 per piece. Great work brings something different and affordable for the area

Don't listen to the haters. They must have mixed their restaurants. Best Mexican food you ever have in your life! They treat you like they've known you for years. The new extended menu is even better than before.

Absolutely amazing... Wayne Rachel were kicking butt serving, making sure everyone is happy... Juan was in the kitchen alone, making food for the whole place (which was filled)... burritos are awesome... elote is on point... best horchata I’ve had in ages!! $1 street tacos, too?!? How do you go wrong?!?

We tried El Hefe last weekend and were super impressed with every aspect. We came back again today! The chips and salsa are excellent and come with your meal. The available appetizers looked so delicious it was hard to pick just one. (For the record the cheese curds were the best I’ve ever had! The specialty tacos and the classic tacos are phenomenal and there is a lot of thought put into the recipes and preparation. The service was also top notch! We plan on being regulars here and hope the positive word keeps spreading! Go give El Hefe a try. You won’t regret it.
