We liked it so much we went 2 days in a row for late tea at about 1830. Food was hit and tasty. Kids loved the pizzas. Moussaka was very good according to the wife as was the lasagne. As for the mixed kebab YUMMY YUMMY.

The castle inn has some vegan options on the menu. eating was very delicious (although quite expensive.) we had the chickpeas curry (which was very spicy, although not dressed as such) and a mushroom soup that was also tasty.
Only a vegan option: a sweet potato and cherry curry, but it was very delicious. good atmosphere and beautiful seating in the upper floor.
The only vegan main option is a £11 dish of quite tasteless penne pasta in basilikum pesto. the vegan dessert option is a £7 chocolate brownie that they no longer offer with non-dairy ices and it was average. boring, uninspired and overpriced.
