I ordered a hot dog all the way and a double cheeseburger with lettuce tomatoes Salome ketchup with an iced tea to drink. My Ice-T was sour. My hot dog was awful not sure how you can make bread rubbery? But they happened to achieve this feat. I gave the hot dog to my dog and she only ate the weenie. My hamburger had neither the lettuce or tomato I had ordered on it. It did come with a lot of gristle. My absolute first time being there will not go back. How disappointing. It has been years since I have ate at west end. I dropped in today and got a hamburger all the way to go. The place has really ran down even more and is in desperate need of face-lift, cleaning, etc. As I was leaving from getting my sandwich I noticed their rating was 93.5 and let me say people that is bad. With experience of working in the food industry, I'm telling you that's not good. I got in my car and decided to at least taste my sandwich. Taste I did and one bite and threw the whole sandwich away. Honestly if I had closed my eyes and tasted it, I wouldn't have known what kind of sandwich it was, other than knowing the texture of a hamburger. I could really go on, but there is no need. Never again will I walk into that place. I'm surprised people are eating their with a rating that low. I should have looked closed for their sanitation rating before I ordered.
