Romantik Hotel Chalet am Kiental

What a fantastic hotel for a couple of weekends. My husband and I loved our room, it was very comfortable, clean and had everything we could need. We stayed in one of the rooms near the restaurant / lobby and it was still very quiet. We have a wonderful sleep and had one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Served individually for each table, it had a wonderful range of yogurt, bread, cheese and meat. The perfect way to finish our journey. Also the sauna facilities looked absolutely wonderful, but we spent more time in Andechs and did not return it in time. Perfect excuse for another visit!

We are really pleased we picked the Romantik Hotel in Herrsching. Such a beautiful place especially made more during the winter season with the snow. The team were very welcoming and gave us a lovely room, so clean and warm during the winter night. The breakfast was very good. Alot of different meats, cheeses and of course the eggs were beautifully presented at the table. We will definitely stay again should we return.

Lovely boutique hotel with fantastic service and great, good sized rooms. Nothing was too much trouble here and the breakfasts were amazing. One downfall was no room service but they rustled something up for me and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. Didn't try the restaurant in the evening but I can imagine it wad great. Would definitely return.

We stayed here for two nights. We were greeted by Maria the owner who was friendly and welcoming and spoke excellent English. The hotel was delightful with lots of interesting spaces and artwork. Our room was on the second floor (there is no lift) and Maria offered to help us up the 4 flights of stairs. The room was under the eaves but was spacious and beautifully clean. The bathroom had a big shower and wash basin. Good quality toiletries. Strangely though the tea making equipment was in here. There were large white fluffy robes and towels. The room was big enough for a family with a large double bed and a sofa which I think turned into a bed. The beams were left exposed and the chimney had been left in this converted barn. The room was really lovely. We didn 't have an evening meal as the restaurant was fully booked on the first night and we ate elsewhere on the second night. Breakfast was an interesting affair with the food already on the table on a tiered 'cake stand '. Jams in the top tier, meats in the middle and cheeses in the bottom. Yoghurts and granola with fruit salad came in little pots also on the table. There was also a basket of breads. Fresh fruit was available and eggs cooked to order. Service was excellent. We cycled to Andechs from here and also around the lake. The only real downside to this was the bells from the local church ring every 15 minutes from 6 am to 10 pm. Lovely hotel, good staff and enjoyable stay.

Per Zufall haben wir uns im Hotel eingebucht für eine Nacht. Mit dem Vermerk auf das gute Restaurant habe ich einen Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Im Restaurant angekommen haben wir auf der Karte das 9 Gang Menue entdeckt. Das war uns definitiv zu viel aber das 6 Gang Menue haben wir uns dann bestellt. Vorab..... wir haben es nicht bereut. Sowohl die Bedienung wie auch die Gänge selber waren eine echte ÜBERRASCHUNG. Sehr gutes Essen dass überraschte. Wir haben ein perfektes Essen geniessen können. Wenn jemand sich gerne überraschen lassen möchte ist er hier richtig. Habe selten so gut gegessen. Und ich wurde bei den 6 Gängen mehrmals positiv überrascht. Eine echte Gaumenfreude.Das Zimmer in dem wir übernachten durften lies ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Es war einfache ein richtig guter Aufenthalt. Wärmstens zu empfehlen.
