Powder Keg - Hercules

This charming little bar offers fantastic food. It's a seafood restaurant located in a lovely part of old downtown Hercules, a hidden gem primarily frequented by locals.

Local eats!!! They never disappoint! The sliders are always a hit, and the mussels are fresh and delicious. You have to try the crab sandwich—it's fantastic! This place is one of the hidden gems of the Bay Area, and the prices are very budget-friendly.

The food was fantastic! It was the best fish and chips I've had in quite a while. My friend ordered the shrimp Louie, and I was lucky enough to get the leftovers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Overall, Powder Keg in San Pablo serves standard pub food. The fries are particularly delicious. While the menu isn’t extensive, as it's one of the first two restaurants in the area, it fills a necessary role. It's a solid choice for a burger, although the drink menu is underwhelming. The jalapeño margarita, despite its name, lacks the spicy kick you might expect.
