Jannat Indian Cuisine - Henrico

My son and I went here for the first time for both of us and we fell in love with 2 things... the service and the food. Our server was so nice, and accommodating that it felt like we made a new friend. She offered extra sauce, naan bread and rice. Very thoughtful and kind. Now, as for the food... let me tell you, if you haven't eaten here yet you are missing out. This was my first time at an Indian restaurant and I didn't think I would be into it, but I was sadly mistaken. They won me over. First they gave us these complimentary big cracker tortilla like thing that was dipped in 3 types of chutney, tamarind/onion/mint. I loved all but the mint. The garlic Naan was another really good addition to the meal, very light airy bread. The entrees came family style. We had chicken tandoori and butter chicken. Both were extremely moist, mild spicy and good enough to smack your momma. Both entrees came with a big bowl of basmati rice. All in all, a very, very delicious meal. My son also tried a drink called mango Lassi. This was a cross between a smoothie a shake. Thicker than juice but thinner than a smoothie. Very, very sweet and tasty drink. I literally cannot wait to go back.

My friends and I wanted to try Indian cuisine for the first time and the reviews brought us here and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the restaurant was very pretty and clean. The man who waited on us was sweet, as well as the rest of the wait staff. The prices were great too, we left full and with leftovers, had an appetizer, drinks, and extra sides as well as 4 entrees for just over $100 for everything. I can?t recommend this place enough!

The best Indian food ever, specially curry paneer and spinach chat. I tried so many Indian restaurant?s food but I never had curry like this restaurant. Highly recommend to try medium spice curry. Very friendly staff specially Navin and beautiful lady both are really nice.

They are doing everything just perfect! Cleanest place, amazing service and the food is truly the best of all Indian restaurants around?. Hands down. We had Indian food all over in the US and abroad and this is up there!! Everything fresh and super tasty. From the appetizer to main dish and dessert. Mango lassi was also awesome. Service was also amazing. Kind and attentive staff and soft spoken. Care about their place and people dining in. Check the place out.

We tried this for takeout a few weeks ago and thought everything was great and that the flavors were all great. I was also surprised how nice the inside was because its in an older shopping center and not overly visible...so we went back to eat inside last week and had a magnificent meal. The service and food were simply amazing. My son and I particularly lovely the Lamb cooked in the Tandoori oven and all the Naan we tried was fantastic. This restaurant can easily serve as a fancy date night or for a family dinner, I couldn't recommend them enough and look forward to going back soon.
