Rookie's Sports Bar - Henderson

Delicious food! On Thursday evening at 18:30 with a companion. Many seats were available and we found a nice stand in the bar. Our waitress, Stacy, was fast, friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Companion and I ordered the same thing; the flat iron steak, mushrooms for one side, and the Italian salad. Both steaks were perfectly cooked on the medium we demanded, and both were super delicate. My only slight problem was Steaks could have used some more spices, but, regardless of that, both were delicious enough to eat without steak sauce of any kind... the sign of a good steak! The little bread that comes with the meal was warm from the oven and tasty enough for us to ask for another bread when it was gone. The strawberry butter that came with him was perfect! We rounded things by sharing some bread pudding that none of us needed, but we couldn't refuse. It was fresh and warm and the rum sauce on it was delicious. We will definitely return. By the way, for those out there who remember rookies spaghetti dinner from years ago, while it no longer on the menu of the owners assures us you can still order it... and it still tastes so good!

If you want high quality food in a super casual environment, this is the place. They definitely pay for the food and not the ambience, but it is worth it. Much better than going to a chain restaurant. They serve delicious fresh baked bread with strawberry butter. Great steak and seafood perfectly cooked. I'm gonna warn you not to order a french unless it's for the kids and they were from several designs of beer selection... but otherwise a great meal and I am happy to recommend.

The first time it was amazing food and staff of the catfish was probably the best I ever had and the waiters were also great
