Dumplings were 2 noodles covered in black pepper. I was disappointed in that dish as it was the main reason to order. Green beans are also full of peppers, which dilutes the taste.

The staff was very friendly. eating was very good, we'll go back. my only criticism would be less salt in her pasta water, mac and cheese, and mac salat very salty.

Absolutely hands down one of the best authentic soul food restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dinning at. From the time my girlfriend and myself entered into the restaurant , we were greeted and throughly explained the menu by a employee. I highly recommend this restaurant, some of the best soul food in the Carolinas.

Let's start by saying there's plenty of soul and a large amount of love that goes into making this food. I was very overwhelmed by the flavors coming out of this small restaurant, I was lucky enough to be in the area. Thank you all for making my first time experience to remember. If you're in area don't hesitate to stop in, trust me you won't be disappointed. You will leave wanting more. Stay hungry my friends, enjoy.

This is a really bad place, most of everything taste like boil and it looks like it, cheap enough for 1 time try.I suggest keep out.
