Mei Lin Sichuan - Helsinki

I couldn't believe I found a place to get xiao long bao in Helsinki! A friend and I ate at mei Lin for our first meal in Helsinki and it was really tasty! We had a bunch of types of dumplings and noodles and it was all good. We were really happy with the food and would definitely recommend them.

This was a surprising discovery in Helsinki. Mei Lin is just across the street from the nearby food hall, and definitely worth a stop for dinner. Mei Lin is absolutely an authentic dining experience of Sichuan cuisine. I highly recommend picking the spicy pork dumplings (dumplings swimming in chili oil). The service of the food was quick, and my server was attentive. When ready, to pay, walk up to the counter.

I would say this is the best Chinese restaurant in Helsinki. The chef is from China, proving that food is very authentic. Most of foods here are spicy but super appetizing and taste great. Good service. Unforgettable experience and surely I will come again!

We had the dumplings in chili sauce, crispy pig intestines and the shredded pork fried sweet bean paste with thin pancake. the staff was very friendly and the service was very fast! I loved the noodles that were (as expected) sharp. also the crispy pig intestines were very delicious! I had never before, and combined with the spicy paprika this was a meal that I return in the future. a great experience.

Probably the best Chinese I had in Finland. mapo tofu would have had a bit more Sekhuan pepper, and perhaps a note more chili, so if they are used to more radiant planes of the heat, they make sure to ask, and I am sure they bend off their head. the other Tofu dish was actually sweet and sour, and not only sweet and salty as they are quite everywhere. I will not really use the word here, but it must be the closest, really I had all over the country. service very friendly and very fast.
