Paul's Margarita Deck - Helen

We stopped here for a margarita and a beer (I had the Warsteiner IPA) and we enjoyed both. The prices are decent for the amount you get (keep in mind you don?t have to get the $15 souvenir size if you don?t want that). There aren?t servers here, you place your food/drink order at the window and sit where you want. There?s a ton of seating both inside and outside, but most people want to sit on the railing overlooking the river.

Came here because a coworker recommended it and I?m glad she did. I had a cherry bomb and it was by Farr probably my favorite drink of all Helen. Everything was decently priced here too with a great view of the river ?

We come to Helen every year for Oktoberfest. By far this is our favorite place to sit and have a drink overlooking the river. They have live music on the weekends and it is usually pretty busy Saturdays and Sundays. The staff is always great and even though the drinks are a little higher priced it's worth it for the experience. The food is moderately priced and good. Cornbread the security guy is awesome!

Wonderful location but the food was sub par. We ordered bbq chicken sandwiches and the bread was so old and stale that neither of our guests finished it. Reuben was sloppy and unfortunately not too appealing. Also wasn't finished. The settings is great and the band was good, but the food needs a lot of attention. Fun, Fun, Fun! Friday night 9pm... This spot is in walking distance to the Heidi Motel where we stayed. Security asked if it was our first time instructed us where to order food sit anywhere. Food drinks were good. I had a Blueberry Lemonade but drank it too fast. Yum! We only ate the chicken wings. They were drizzled in sauce ?, but tasty. Staff was friendly. There was a live band that played a great mix of music DJed the party. They sang Purple Rain in a country twang. Different, but it was good! They sang Jimmy Buffet, some others I don't know, played Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Usher, Cupid Slide, the Wobble, the Electric Slide, etc. The crowd was enjoying themselves. A lady invited me to get on the dance floor with her several people were very friendly. The atmosphere is great because a whole wall is essentially open overlooking the water, so we were getting the fresh air. This place is a whole vibe.
