Mateo's Cocina Latina - Healdsburg

What a great place! We had the cooking menu of the cook. Each course was served by chef Matteo who described the preparation and the fresh ingredients. He obviously went too much work to prepare our dinner. Each course looked beautiful and tasted as good as it looked. The outdoor terrace in the background of the restaurant is quiet and attractive. This was our first visit to Matteo’s, but we will be back.

You'd be stupid not to go to Mateo's time in Healdsburg. mix of Yucatan with local ingredients, all fresh and tasty. Informal and relaxed I liked the door open on a warm afternoon and a few people coming and out.

No. Front door remained open until we got up from our table to close it. Bad design. Food was okay, but nothing special.

We took our mother to Mateo for her 70. Birthday and dinner was amazing!! This is our 3rd time there and it is always wonderful!

Food was great, as always. It was very quiet due to the flooding in the area impacting tourism and generally few were out and about. Service was very attentive, proactive and helpful. Thanks.
