Kinsmoke - Healdsburg

Good food, but limited amount. We ordered the 4x4 dinner and enjoyed the meat and the pages we received. However, the amount of food is far less than expected. Special: No actual ribs in the STL ribs, only some meat strips 1 sausage of the Texas Sausage 7 total Brussels Spruren All sides were only half filled to the cups in which they were (see picture) Every person's plates looked really economical when we softened the food. Maybe the din is better in experience.

This place has the best BBQ food ever. Really amazing brisket and pork belly. There roasted Brussels sprouts are the best. I get them every time I go.

We arrived about 7pm on a Wednesday with high expectations. The restaurant was busy both inside and outside and loud. The entrance isn't welcoming and was cluttered. OK, it's a BBQ joint and busy should be a good sign. We waited a good bit before our server came to our table. Ordering was quick and easy. Then, another long wait. I asked about our order. But, our server didn't know and sadly seemed uninterested. When our food was served it looked good. The plastic sauce cups cheapened the presentation. The St Louis ribs were OK as was the rest of our order. OK isn't what we were looking for. Wait staff appeared stressed and hurried. We tried the funnel cake dessert. Less funnel and more pretzel sticks with chocolate sauce. Maybe this was an off night. In the end, we left disappointed.

It was okay. It did not WOW me like other BBQ places i been to. Server never checked on us while we were there. The cabbage slaw was awful. I ordered the ribs and it was not the best. Normally ribs is smothered in bbq sauce. This was not the case. If you really want an authentic BBQ go somewhere else. Portion was to small for the price. Brussels spouts was burnt.

Customer service was nothing special. The brisket was dry and so was the chicken! Tasted like they reheated it because it was sitting too long. The drinks felt water downed so an extra shot was necessary. None of the sides tasted good at all so we won?t be coming back to this place nor will we be recommending it either.
