We arranged my mom's 94th birthday party here in the room that overlooks the Sugarloaf valley. Tom made sure that the tables were set up as discussed as were the flower centerpieces I had delivered. The food I chose from the buffet menu were hot, constantly refilled and everybody commented on how delicious the food was. We had l waitress, Lexie. She was PHENOMINAL. She had drinks ready b4 people asked, as well as coffee. She took the cake cut up for dessert b4 the candles were cold. Excellent Service. We've been coming here for special events for years and have never been disappointed. Smilax flower shoppe did an excellent job, if you're in need of a florist. They are great people that order fresh flowers for whatever arrangement you are looking for. Parking: Parking is a huge lot right in front of the front doors. Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu which if you are ordering a buffet can get a discount off the child options. My ladies golf group has been coming here for about 5 years. This past Wednesday was a bit disappointing. I had called and specifically asked for the separate windowed room for the 10 of us at 4pm. I was told it was fine but since they had another party scheduled for 6pm we would need to be finished quickly. No problem. We got there and were told the 6pm group pushed up their timeframe and we would be seated elsewhere. Why wasn’t that group told they could not push their timeframe up? Why were we automatically relegated elsewhere? It was a nice table next to a window, so ok. But I felt as if we were given the bum’s rush drink orders were taken with dinner orders. Hardly had time to sit and enjoy a drink when dinner came. Some of our water glasses were clearly dirty and some bread/butter plates had food stuck on them. No complaints about food and our server was very good. Overall I don’t classify this as an upscale restaurant .. disappointed this time . Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
