La Rosa Chicken Grill - Hazlet Township

As a chef, I'm aware of the proper protocols for cooking in a professional setting, especially since I've taken the New Jersey Serve Safe exam. However, during my visit, I noticed the cook handling his phone—texting and touching it—while preparing food, including both raw and cooked chicken. That's quite concerning! I'm sure the food tastes great, but witnessing that sort of behavior raises health violation alarms for me.

I didn't realize I could order from the Hazlet store on Grubhub! The food was excellent, although it wasn't hot or warm. I enjoyed it just the same; it was so good!

The food was enjoyable, but the delivery was late. Additionally, we didn't receive one of the items we ordered and got something we hadn't ordered instead.

Order was missing two orders of fries and two drinks.

Stopped in for lunch. Plenty of options on the menu. The chicken fell off the bone and was delicious! I also did a side of creamed spinach and stuffing which were also both tasty. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite that isn't fast food.
