Petaling Street: Malaysian Hawker Food - Feedback

The food at this slightly grimy restaurant was fantastic and made us feel like we were back in Malaysia! We loved the Penang char kway teow with duck egg

Of the cities I have visited around the world, Sydney seems to have the most Malaysian restaurants outside of Malaysia that I have encountered.

Petaling was fairly easy to find from google maps, and right on the street Don't be off put by the super narrow entrance inside.

Tried fish head noodle soup. Fish head was fried. Slightly too oily. Soup looked creamy but pickle was overpowering. Quite cheap for cbd location

Heard about this place from a friend long time ago, but never tried it until tonight:) The restaurant looks small and no dining atmosphere but the food was fant...
