Bidra med feedbackI was pleased to come across this top rated family-like eatery located on the border of Quebec and Ontario (but technically located in ON! . Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and was automatically greeted by a very kind host. Interestingly enough, despite being in Ontario you'll be greeted in French (since it borders . We were seated right away outside. The patio is spacious and clean, but the seats were a bit low. Not a huge deal though, the food definitely compensates. I ordered the Chicken pita (opting for Greek food in a Canadian restaurant...lol which came with a side of fries and salad. Definitely a high risk high reward situation, as the food ended up being truly delicious. I enjoyed the sliced chicken in the gyro, and the salad was very tasty. They did right with the vinegar and the feta cheese curds were absolutely mouthwatering. I take off one star because the fries could be done much better. Unfortunately they are over cooked, not salted enough, and taste mostly like potato skin. The portions, however, very generous. We also had an order of Buffalo wings, which were one of the best wings I've ever tried. They were perfectly prepared as to where the shell was crispy and wasn't overpowered by the sauce. What a hit. Not wonder this place is the best rated in Hawkesbury!
This is a popular place with good food. Again don't expect to be treated with courtoisie. Employees seem unhappy and the ambiance is very noisy.
Tried the bruschetta here. Was really good. But the servers were really busy and the order took like 40mins to reach the table. Busy place could use more staff to accommodate guests quickly. Huge place inside with pool table and bar and lots of outside seating too. Apparently the best big restaurant in Hawkesbury.
Good place to eat food is good! Service wise some employees are more grumpy and less welcoming! Ambiance wise place is clean!!
Over booked, over cooked, understaffed. Has the potential to be better. Needs a lean menu, more control of booking to align with staffing and the owner could use some lessons on the power of customer experience.
