Bidra med feedbackI had the worst experience with the Mul-naengmyeon at this restaurant. It was the last dish to arrive, despite being the only cold item I ordered. There was far too much ice, turning it into a slushy mess. The dish had an overwhelming amount of radish, and I wasn't even sure if there were any slices of cooked beef included. It felt like they rushed my order and, instead of waiting for the right moment to serve it or offering an apology and suggesting another dish, they opted to serve a subpar meal. For Korean food in this area, this is simply unacceptable.
I ordered bossam, and it had a terrible smell. I'm not sure about the other dishes, but I definitely wouldn't recommend the bossam here. It seems like the ownership has changed, as the window displays a different name: Woomiok.
I wanted to share the menu and prices because I found different, lower prices online. When I visited on August 17, 2023, these were the actual prices to keep in mind before going there. The area isn't particularly upscale, and the interior is quite modest. Given the prices, I think it would be better to visit a nicer restaurant where you might pay more but enjoy a great atmosphere. I didn't rate the food or service because I opted for a better restaurant instead, considering the cost.
Was looking for some Korean lunch while visiting LA, Of course with higher expectations for Korean food there. Found this place on Yelp, decided to give it a try. First things first-the food- we got the seafood pancake in hopes of getting something delicious and filled with seafood, instead we got only green onions. That was a lie. Service was ok, unfriendly and unwillingly serving their ONLY customers at that time of day. Ambiance- a shaky table. I don't understand how this place has a good rating.
Leek pancake, jokbal (pork feet), dumpling stew were all delicious. Dumplings are hand-made (saw them making at a back table). Food is not oily/greecy!
