The Pavilion - Havant

We enjoyed the goat cheese salad and smoked salmon and prawn salad, both of which were very delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable compared to our previous visits. The service was excellent as well. Keep up the good work!

The service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, of good quality and served hot. Our order was delivered promptly after we ordered our drinks (which is not always the case at other restaurants). While not inexpensive, it is definitely worth the price. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to others.

We have visited the Pavilion three times this season and have been disappointed each time. The service is not friendly, and on one occasion we were given the wrong size food and had to pay for it. The last two times we went at 3pm, a staff member took away our sugar and small vase of flowers, as if we did not deserve them. While I understand the need to tidy up at the end of the day, I believe that 3pm is too early for this.

Just a note the Pancakes had just come off the menu so were not available anymore. However the breakfast, service, and décor provided a great start to the day. Followed up with a browse round the gardens and farm shop.

Visited for the 1st time and was not impressed. Kids box meal was good value. They ended up getting more for £6.25 than I got for £8.75. The only downside of the box was we were not told about item changes. Kids macaroni cheese was only just warm and looked just like it had come from a tin. I asked for a gammon sandwich and crisp, no salad. The so called Gammon was like rubbery ham. Nothing like Gammon.
