Coney Island Cafe - Hattiesburg

Amazing, 50’s diner with the best food. It’s like the history of Hattiesburg in one small building. The pictures artifacts alone would make it worth a visit but the food keeps you coming back. Their Open Faced Steak sandwich is to die for. Also, the curly Q fries are a Hattiesburg specialty. I went thru a period my freshman year in college where I literally would place a call in order for one daily. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out where I got my freshman 15! .

Love this place! My 6 year old son visited for the first time today and said it was “the best food ever.”

Great diner where all the food is good! I did not know they were cooking chicken and dumplings and had something else. Billy has taken his ancestors diner and kept is going with style! The service is great and the food that Misty cook on the grill or what Billy cooks in the back is excellent!

The food and service are still great; the only thing missing was Billy.
