Rustic Café - Haskell

My family stopped here after traveling all day on a Sunday evening. We were told to seat ourselves wherever we’d like. We were greeted by our waitress who took our drink orders coke and lemonade).When she returned, she took all the time we needed to discuss questions about the menu. She recommended the country fried steak and catfish. We ordered the GRILLED medium)Ribeye and Catfish meals. Our food comas out in less than 20 minutes the restaurant was 3/4 full). THE FOOD WAS SEASONED AND COOKED TO PERFECTION! Hubby’s steak came with mushrooms, green peppers and onions. My catfish was seasoned and not crisp. Everything, the sides Mac and cheese, corn, green beans, seasoned fries) were all delicious. It tasted like a 5 star chef was in the kitchen. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. Our entire meal was less than 45 dollars. We will definitely be back if ever in the area again on a Sunday evening! Absolutely love this place! Will keep coming back. Food is great and the staff are wonderful. Cozy feel of a small diner with the convenience of the attached gas station for quick pick ups and fuel. Very comfortable with a no stress atmosphere. Loved it immensely. Adding photos of the inside and our food. The brownie was hugh. Food was okay, the only thing was they ran out of French fries and they only offered chips to replace it or upgrade to onion rings, I think they should have just offered the onion rings to replace the french fries, not my fault they ran out .
