Hot Stove Saloon - Harwich

I enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring a tuna melt with bacon, a cheesy cheeseburger, and a tasty BLT. The restaurant had a beautiful setting with horses nearby. The service was excellent and there was convenient parking available.

This unpretentious bar/tavern offers great comfort food at affordable prices. It has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The honey fried chicken is always delicious and the service is efficient and friendly.

What a pleasant surprise! The exterior of the Hot Chef Saloon doesn't do justice to the cozy and inviting interior. We were looking for a more affordable dining option and ended up sitting at a high-top by the window in the bar area. There are regular dining tables and stands in the front, but we were offered a table on the other side that we didn't get to see, so I can't speak to that area. Our server brought us menus and drinks quickly, although we had to wait a bit for him to return to take our order. It was a busy Saturday night in February, with all tables full and only a few spots open at the bar. I ordered a cod Reuben with curly fries for $14.00, while my partner went for a native cod sandwich with regular fries. Our meals arrived promptly, and the cod fillet on my partner's sandwich was large and cooked perfectly. My Amstel Light had just the right amount of dressing to complement the fish. Texas toast enveloped both sandwiches, with thick slices that were nicely toasted. It was a great pub-style meal at a reasonable price.

A friend and I came out last night and eating was very fast done! everything we got was good, and the prices are very reasonable.

Outdated prices on website, burger I got was burnt on the outside and raw on the outside. Disappointed local who has seen this place go downhill over the last couple years
