Applebee's Grill - Hartsville

Date Night is always a success. Yeah, we like Applebee on a date night?

I gave 3 stars bc I had full and the food was good. Once sitting, it took about 10 minutes to come for someone and take our drink order. I've always been trained to never let you wait a jug more than 2 minutes after sitting to acknowledge it. Place might have 6 tables max seat. Never seen any of the employees smile or interact with their tables. This place could use a few upbeat servers that like to work with the public and love their work enough to earn money.

This Applebee site has definitely dropped. For beginners, the staff has a bad presentation about their appearance. We sat a while before someone came and took our drinks order. Then we had to ask to clean our table. My husband had ribs and pommes, the pommes came out cold. We asked for fresh fries and they lasted about 20 minutes on fries. We had to ask for cutlery as soon as we have our food. I have Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. The season was great that?s the reason for the first?? My chicken could have been cooked. They brought out food that asked who was.. very unprofessional. Our waitress was very nice. I guess the guy who gave orders to the staff was the manager. He talked to them so that everyone could hear, they could definitely say there were tensions. I understand it's difficult times for restaurants now for lack of personnel. but this facility is very unprofessional? Even the restroom was bad, 3 stalls and all were dirty.. We won't return.

On Monday evening, the restaurant was understated and I think it was a big role to have to wait so long for our drinks and food. The food came cold, but then we were ready to eat everything that was in the frone of us. However, the staff was very nice and polite.

My curbside order took 50 minutes from the time my order was to have been ready and I checked in online. I called inside during this time and sat on hold for 20 minutes, then when the young lady came back to the phone, she stated she would have someone bring my order out, which took an additional 20 minutes. Then when the individual brought my order out, I mentioned I was missing my smoothie, and they replied, yeah I know, it'll be right out. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I just left. I had my two toddlers in the car with me, so a smoothie just wasn't worth it. If the facility doesn't have the capability to service curbside to go, then the service simply shouldn't be offered. With two toddlers, I was unable to go in and be able to carry out my large order. I likely won't be frequenting this establishment within the near future.
