Bidra med feedbackTwice in the recent past I have tried to order from Bear’s through Uber Eats and pulled pork has been off the menu. What gives? I ended up ordering from The Portly Pig instead.
The blonde chunky woman, Christy Crusty. Was extremely rude, not welcoming, raciest and does not look people in the eye when speaking too.
I was very excited to visit this place but unfortunately our experience wasn’t the best.The meat section guy was very rude and tell us that they only had sausage and chicken, but when we argue that we saw brisket he argue that it wasn’t enough for a meal.We got a brisket sandwich then , wich says 12 and for 50 comes with Cole slaw…Even than that they charge for all the sides ??,That could be ok, but when I asked for fries they gave me the cold leftover that they had on the frier.I don’t know why the staff were so mad.It’s a completely shame, cause the concept and the place itself is nice. I understand if the sold out but why you have to be rude?Very poor service and not worth it
Visited the Hartford location the atmosphere is nice the place can accommodate quite a large number of people. Fast service the staff are well trained the sides are nice and favorable with the beans as a particular standout (they could be a meal by themselves ...butThe brisket was dry they pre cut it and leave it in a warmer it should be cut to order pre cutting it and leaving it to stay warm made it a dry grey band with fat not tasty at all the same technique for the ribs which have a nice sauce and are tender but you could tell they sat for a while before being served if you're reading this owners don't precut the meats because it definitely affects ts the quality of the product the pulled pork is tender but on the whole everything lacks the umph of being made in a smoker. Maybe they put it in a oven to partially cook it or hold off on the rub to offset the chance of oversalting ...In all a nice place for BBQ but no where on the level of great Texas BBQ like Blacks or The Salt Lick or Franklin St .Would do well to offer a coarse salt sprinkle and or fresh ground pepper.
The crew member that served the meat was so rude…. Then the sides crew member served and gave the sides to me in a rude way for no reasonIf you don’t like your job, just don’t do it!!!Never go back.
