I am delighted that this restaurant has reopened under new management and with excellent chefs. As a food enthusiast, I am very particular about the food I consume and the service I receive. I must say that I was highly impressed with both the food and the front of house manager. Our group ordered a mixed grill, along with side orders of mushrooms and aubergines. It was evident that high quality meat, fish, and fresh vegetables were used in the preparation process. The meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, while the vegetable option provided a unique and delicious twist on traditional starters, which was well-received by all diners. Overall, the prices for both food and drinks were excellent value for money. Having dined in various restaurants in central London, I can confidently say that this restaurant offers food of a similar caliber without the exorbitant prices. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had dinner here yesterday. Food was very good and the choices many and various. We both had lamb dishes and both were tender, tasty and plentiful. The owner's attention to us, despite a large birthday party in the restaurant, was great. He's a natural. However, may need to show at least one of his waiter's some common courtesies. I finished my meal but my wife hadn't. He stripped the table bare of almost everything, besides her plate, before I could stop him! Pretty basic stuff. Go, is nice!

The food here is superb. This is without question the best Indian restaurant in the area. Service and atmosphere are nothing special but the quality of the food, the flavours, portions and value for money is great. If you want delicious , spicy Indian Food, come here.

I would never recommend ordering from here. Ordered at 8.30pm it is now 10.30pm and still no food. Called the restaurant four times and was told the food is on its way. Got fed up and called again and was told the driver couldn't find my address even though they have come here several times before. Asked to speak to a manager and apparently they don't have one. I was told they sending the food again and for ME to microwave it!!!! Awful service and manner!!!! If u want to order food and be told to stick it in the microwave then maybe this backstreet restaurant is for you!

After recently moving to the area, I noticed that this restaurant was the most modern option on the busy street. Despite my initial concerns, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service that matched the restaurant's renovated appearance. The portion sizes were just right and all dishes were presented well. The staff was friendly enough, adding to the pleasant experience on a quiet weekday evening. The hand towel provided was a nice touch (I won't reveal the secret!). While the main courses were reasonably priced, I would suggest lowering the cost of rice and breads, as they appeared to be more expensive compared to similar restaurants I have dined at before.
