Bidra med feedbackWhat a special Christmas treat. The additional dishes on the menu were all wonderfully executed, particularly the amazing rib eye. The service was attentive and top-notch as usual. I feel like I won't need to eat for a week after this meal!
The food at this restaurant is average at best and not worth the price they are asking. We were disappointed to find that there was very little meat in our dishes and despite asking for specific cuts, we were only offered cheap options like chicken thighs, sausage, and even garlic bread. None of the higher quality steak, gammon, or lamb were available. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the near future.
Fantastic as usual, it's wonderful to come back and find that the experience is just as fantastic as it was the first time we visited!
We booked a table for 8pm on a Saturday night, arrived promptly and, for the first 45 minutes, all was fine. Then most of the serving staff departed, loudly saying their farewells to their few remaining colleagues despite the restaurant allegedly being open until 10pm. The result? No more food offered for the next 25-30 minutes despite repeated enquiries. Then few staff available even to request a bill from! Given the restaurant's concept of staff continuing to serve freshly cooked cuts of meat throughout a meal, employing sufficient serving staff until the restaurant closes should be a pretty basic requirement!
This is the 3rd visit to this restaurant, food was superb and the tables were clean. Service appeared to be a lot slower than previous visits, with the meat been eaten before more came out. Salad bar was as usual well stocked and plenty of choice.
