Mediocre at best. And since there is not much to do in Hardisty, we showed up twice in one day (so you get 2 reviews in 1... yay! . The decor is pretty much what you 'd expect in a small town diner. Steel chairs, walls filled with artwork of animals, a single big screen TV. The restaurant entrance door doesn 't close all the way, so the floor is noticeable dusty. The waitress the first time was just like the restaurant... mediocre. She aptly took our order and served our food, but she never showed up again. Never asked how our food was, never made sure we needed a beverage refill. Chicken fingers were typical, that commercial bought product that most restaurants have. So good, but not anything special. The beef dip was the worst I 've had in a long time. Bland bun that wasn 't toasted enough, bland au jus sauce, and very grisly meat. The one redeeming factor for the meals were that they were huge. So overall on the first meal, below average that I would expect eating at any restaurant. We showed up later in the day with 6 other people (Hardisty has very few places to waste time while waiting for a wedding reception . This visit we had 12 year old girl as a waitress (probably the owners daughter . Us: How is the coffee? Too young waitress, sheepishly Ummm... Good? I don 't know, I drink coffee? Us: What kind of beer do you have? Too young waitress: Good beer? (Which is a spectacular answer from someone who wouldn 't be allowed to serve beer anyway lol . Us: What 's on the Hardisty burger? Too young waitress ...Good stuff. At this point we couldn 't even keep from laughing. I only grabbed a slice of pizza from my wife. It was pretty good for a random little diner. I usually don 't like pizza outside of big-box places but I would recommend it over the previous meal we ate.

The service was, service. But I dont care about service as long as I'm not being ignored. The food was terrible the only thing on my plate that was well under average, and not blasphemous, was the gravy.However I would enjoy having drinks in there, just not food.

Burgers are from frozen im guessing. Bacon was way off. Fries were good

Ordered breakfast this morning. Eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were way over cooked. Every item on my plate tasted of oil, even my toast!!Server was very pleasant and coffee was fresh.Definitely qont have breakfast here again
