The Queens Head - Harborough

Had a lovely visit to the Queen head for a spur of the moment dinner with the family. The food was really good and the service we had from the young waitress was very good. It was a homely feel due to the log fire and there was a sale on food which resulted in every one feeling full and sleep set by the fire.

The food was not up to par and the service was lacking on a quiet evening, with the staff more focused on chatting among themselves and being on their phones.

I managed to get away from the kids for a while and decided to visit the local restaurant in our neighborhood. We enjoyed a tasty pie, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, while my husband had a burger. We also had a few glasses of Merlot and a pint for him. The service was excellent, and it's a wonderful family-friendly pub. What more could you want?! The views from the restaurant are also incredible.

Tired and hungry, five of us went to the Queens Head for a late Sunday lunch. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all fantastic. We started with drinks from the bar, followed by a variety of appetizers and delicious roast dinners with a generous assortment of vegetables, huge Yorkshire puddings, and thick, tasty gravy. We finished off with some shared desserts. The prices were very reasonable, so you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a satisfying meal with a few drinks. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and craving hearty, home-cooked style food.
