Popeye's - Hanover County

I have been in this place a number of times for lunch and it is so hit or miss. Today had to be the worst trip. From the time I walked in the door was constant yelling for no reason. I am a operation manager and as a manager you are the coach of the team. You must jump in and help your team. All I heard was this manager yelling at the employees amd the one employee was yelling back which was uncalled for and disrespectful. First at the cook that he needed to be filling the trays faster then the guy at the counter because he was taking too many orders at a time. I formally worked in the restaurant industry many years ago, and I seen a place that wasn't properly stock up for a lunch rush. They were out of sauces at the counter, and the ice machine was empty and everyone was running around like their hair was on fire.

Terribly slow service, no management, and zero communication on how long before your food will be ready. To top this off, no ice in the icemaker, most sodas not dispensing, and all sodas luke warm. No table tops cleaned off. No one that works here has any idea of what's happening. I understand the labor pool isn't great, but management needs to make some changes at this location.

On lunch time you only order 2 meals and there are 3 of us and it is a bad way of fast food

Stopped for lunch. Ordered 2 plain chicken sandwiches and a box of wings and drinks. Several things went wrong with our order. No straws for our drinks. Made us wait over 15 minutes for our order. French fries were greasy and dumped into the bottom of the bag. Was told that only chicken wings available were spicy, but only after I paid for.the order! They made fresh plain ones but without any salt. One of the sandwiches was spicy and I ordered it as plain, not spicy. Ordered cajun rice and they gave me fries. They only had diet drinks and sweet tea, diet drink was not carbonated. Overall, a terrible lunch and we will never visit this place again!!!

I have been to this Popeyes numerous times. When it first opened it was quick, efficient, and fresh. I love popeyes, but I will say this location had continued to go downhill. Long wait times, incorrect food, poor customer service, it's just a nightmare. I have waited upwards of 30 mins several times. I will not visit this location again
