Bidra med feedbackWhen our food arrived, the runner had trouble identifying our order, having to stop at three different tables. Ultimately, we realized it was ours, but my friend's duck was mistakenly served as shepherd's pie, and my salmon wasn't what I expected from the menu. Throughout this ordeal, the bartender shifted the blame to the kitchen staff and the computer system, consistently refusing to take accountability for her mistakes. After the runner took away the incorrect shepherd's pie, he left my dish behind. The bartender returned, once again attributing her errors to others. My main concern was why she allowed my dish to sit there, knowing it would be another 20 minutes before they corrected her order. Why not place my dish under a warmer? Instead, it sat untouched while we waited. I asked the bartender why there was rice on my plate instead of the fingerling potatoes listed on the menu. She again blamed the menu change, failing to acknowledge her lack of awareness, and offered me a side of potatoes. After around 25 minutes, she promised my potatoes would come out any minute, but they never arrived—I'm still waiting! When my friend’s meal did finally come out, we ate together. Unfortunately, my salmon was cold, and the vegetables were also cold. Overall, the meal was quite underwhelming. My advice to the restaurant is this: if your menu changes, ensure your staff is informed and provide updated menus rather than outdated ones. Moreover, take responsibility for mistakes instead of blaming the kitchen; it reflects poorly on them for no reason. Lastly, I noticed at least five staff members standing around outside the kitchen doing nothing the entire time we were there. If you're that overstaffed, why not provide some training for those workers? This experience was a one-time occurrence for us, and we won’t be returning.
I had a fantastic experience with our waiter—definitely a 10/10! My dad and I ordered several beer flights, and he managed to remember all of them without taking any notes, even the more unusual IPAs. They have an impressive selection of beers on tap that I never expected. For dinner, I ordered the Slaughterhouse burger, which came piled high with fried chicken, pulled pork, bacon, and cheese on a bun. It was incredible!
The service was acceptable, the place was clean, and the drinks were quite strong! However, it was quite loud despite not being very busy, which made conversation difficult—I found myself saying "what?" too many times. The food was decent overall. For the appetizer, the chips we received were stale and rubbery. After trying to get the waiter’s attention for about 5 to 10 minutes, we finally got fresh chips, but by then, half of our meal was already eaten. The prices are reasonable and the food is good, but I wouldn’t choose to come back. I prefer a more relaxed atmosphere where I can actually converse. While it’s relaxing in some ways, it's just too loud for my liking. Sorry!
Wonderful outside deck followed by a scrumptious cast iron meatball appetizer. The main dishes were spectacular and the dessert marvelous, combine that with the wonderful waitress and we have a winner....
As soon as you walk in, you can see how clean this place is. Always a great first impression. Service was outstanding as was the food. Calamari was excellent. As was the maple bacon old fashioned. But be warned, it's strong. Pretty good craft beer list, and they offer flights. Wish I looked at the back of the menu sooner, but that's on me. Filet Oscare was amazing. Delicious and tender, and just as ordered. Rare. Lobster rav was equally as good, and I always get scared of specialty ravioli. Whole experience was just great, and the entire party agreed. Thank you and will be back!
