Bidra med feedbackWe came to this cafe for convenience and initially, it appeared to be clean with a good selection of cakes. My partner ordered and I waited patiently, only to be disappointed when the cake and coffee/tea arrived with a tasteless side salad. After taking a few bites of my cake, I realized it was not what I had expected. When I tried to return it, the staff gave me a dismissive response, insinuating that I had simply changed my mind. Eventually, I received the cake I had originally ordered, but without the salad that I did not even want to mention. The cakes were acceptable but did not compare to the ones we had enjoyed during our travels. We regret stopping at this cafe and wish we had chosen a different place on the street, as there are many other options available.
We paid $29.50 for two slices of cake, a small salad, a coffee and a water. It's overpriced and you'll have to work hard to afford it. The staff was nice, the cake crust was delicious, and the filling was good. However, it's not worth the high price. They should use more local ingredients and stop ripping off tourists with such expensive meals.
We thought we were getting a late breakfast here. There were no prices displayed, so we assumed the regular-sized cakes would be $8 considering we were in a certain country. We were surprised when we found out they were actually $12.50 each. We almost left, but we were too hungry so we settled for a mediocre meal (like bacon). What a disappointment.
We stopped in this restaurant to get a cup of tea and coffee. the delicious fragrance from the kitchen led us to bacon and eggcake. so tasty! made in the spatialities of the family and served fresh to their teller of the...family!
Stopped here for convenience really and at first glance the cafe appeared fine - clean and a variety of pies on offering. My husband ordered and I sat down - thankfully as when he told me the price I was shocked. The pies and coffee/ tea arrived with the tasteless salad on the side. I had two bites of my pie and realised it was chicken not beef - yes it took 2 bites to taste meat or flavour. I returned it and experienced a very grumpy reply almost suggesting that they were correct and I had simply changed my mind! I was given the beef pie I had ordered but no salad - which I didn't even bother to indicate to the server. The pies were okay but nothing like some of the pies we had eaten on our travels. We were sorry we had stopped here and not somewhere else! Look for other places on this road as there are many.
