Rats Grounds For Sculpture

Although the restaurant was half empty we had to wait for a table and then after being seated we waited almost 15 minutes for a server. The location is great but the food wasn’t worth the price.

Despite having a marginal meal during my visit in 2023 I decided to give Rats another try. That was a poor decision. The waitstaff was neither friendly nor helpful. The lunch meals we ordered were cold when served (burger and prime rib sandwich). When I told the waitress she said ‘I don’t know how that could've happened’ and she walked away not to be seen again until we asked for the check. Lesson learned. The restaurant is beautiful and has amazing potential. It was sad and clearly evident that the restaurant staff did not want to be there.

We were given a table for 2 that was too small to even hold our appetizer. The room was empty and we could have been seated more comfortably. Not the evening we were hoping for.

Service was minimal. Coffee was vile!! Got new cup but not regular. It was decaf! Fix the machine!

Had a wonderful lunch outdoors near the pond on this sunny Spring day! An experience to remember. Highly recommend!
