The Keg Steakhouse + Bar Waterdown

I got ditched for dinner but still decided to go because I was craving a delicious steak. I was not disappointed! Delicious meal, fast service as I was in the lounge area, and the waiter was engaged and very kind. He even brought me a piece of cake just for the heck of it. I love that the Keg is consistent and always very good. Thanks for a great solo night.

We love the Keg. The lack of stars is because the kitchen was very slow. We were there on a Saturday right at 5 with toddlers and had to wait a long time for our meals. Our waitress was lovely and accommodating but I was surprised that the kitchen got backed up so quickly. This doesn't mean we won't be going back.

Our server, Troy, couldn't have been more accommodating. Our beverage order was not as requested (very dry martinis) so they were replaced with fresh martinis and we were not charged for them terrific service recovery! All of the food was outstanding in flavour and presentation. Wedge salad had very little blue cheese dressing, but this was supplied forthwith. This was a birthday celebration, and to mark the occasion, Troy provided a very yummy dessert which we shared another wonderful customer service touch. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Great anniversary dinner. Everyone was very friendly. Food was great, loved the shrimp cocktail and both our steaks were excellent. Came to Waterdown location as Burlington is closed right now. Better atmosphere here!

I had ribs which were excellent. My wife had a peppercorn new york steak which was average and was accompaniedby an overcooked potato. She told the server who after a little longer than the 5 minutes promised brought another meal which had a good potato but still a very average steak. We go to the keg for most special occasions and Usually get very good steaks so overall a disappointing night. My wife had waited so long that she took 3/4 of the steak home to for my son to take to work for lunch.
