Shirin's Fine Foods - Hamilton

I love Shirin's. Her pastries are amazing. She also has good eastern European food to take out and eat at home. And chocolate.this business is a victim of the increasing rents on Locke. And the demand to make 'improvements' to the building that are very expensive to the owner and add no value to the business owner or to the customer. I can going to miss you Shirin.

The gelato shop down the road is delicious....unless you want kiddie sized cones for very little people. Shirin's is perfect for this! Take your toddlers here for Locke St ice cream.

My first time to visit this store, but I will be back! The owner is so lovely and she makes almost everything in the store herself (from cabbage rolls to chocolates). Delicious!!!

The dessert products are wonderful here. And the owner often uses fruit that she has picked herself locally. Try the cherry pie. Amazing!There are a lot of exceptional east Europeanappetizers and main course items in the cooler. Soups pirogies etc.All really good. Give it a try. I know you will like it.
