Bidra med feedbackWe went to celebrate my sister's birthday on Sunday evening at 5:30. The restaurant was busy but not packed when we arrived. It took 20 minutes for us to place our drink orders, then another 20 minutes for them to be delivered, at which point Ben took our food orders. The food took an additional 25 minutes to arrive, by which time only a few tables in the restaurant were still occupied. Unfortunately, the food was cold and our orders were incorrect. Despite asking multiple times, our drinks were not refilled. We requested to speak to the manager, who offered to remake our food, but we declined due to the long wait. He then offered us a 20% discount on our meals and 2 free desserts, which we accepted. However, the manager never returned with our drinks as promised. We eventually finished our meals and ordered the free desserts, but they never arrived. As we got ready to leave, our table had not been cleared, our desserts were missing, and our bills had not been prepared. After asking multiple staff members for our bills and desserts to go, we had been at the restaurant for over 2 hours without a resolution.
My hockey team stopped by this restaurant for drinks after our final game of the season. I can't speak to the food since we only had drinks, but the beer selection was excellent! The service was a bit hectic, perhaps due to our large group arriving unexpectedly on a Tuesday night. Despite some disorganization, the staff was friendly and eventually made sure we were taken care of by having some of us go to the bar for drinks before sending a server to our table.
We made reservations for 12 including 3 children two days in advance including mentioning there was a birthday celebration.When we arrived at 4:30pm the restaurant had about 10 patrons (OMG I'm thinking this should have been an omen) and they did not have a record of our reservations nor were then prepared for us. Luckily my husband remembered the name of the person that took the reservation (same name as our Granddaughter.) They quickly set us up -- they do have lots of room for large groups I'll give them that. The drinks came very slowly and they did not have clamato juice and just substituted rather than offering the choice. They got a couple of the meals wrong. My dish which was the BPs House Chicken Salad looked delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken breast that was on the top looked like it had been grilled last night and sat under the heat lamp all morning. It was not edible. Service was extremely slow and many items had to be requested twice. We have eaten at this restaurant two months ago and it seems to have gone down hill. There was no accomodation for a birthday celebration that was a disappointment for all the children. I would have expected the manager to have apologized for the problems but only the young waitress. Unfortunately, they need to do a lot of work to bring their establishment up to snuff. Located next to Hamilton where the quality of restaurants matches and exceeds the quality of Toronto, this little place will not survive and nor should it if service and lack of attention to the quality of the food they were serving doesn't change.
We stopped in for a bite with the kids on January 27th. Music was SO LOUD that we could not hear each other speak. Young waitress gave very poor service. Only took our order then came back for the kids ice-cream. No offer of drink refills or to ask if we wanted to order any other items...so we didn't! Typical Boston Pizza fare so no surprises there. Will not return to this location.
We visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time since it reopened. The food was excellent with generous portions, and our server was very personable. I must say, I was not impressed with the previous management.
